The most Northern part of the Netherlands is a shallow tidal sea with islands, the Waddenzee. Combined with the shallow seas of Germany and Denmark it forms a Unesco natural heritage reserve. In the Waddenzee there are 5 inhabited islands, accessible by boat. Photos of trips to these islands are on this page.
