Our trips around Stromness were limited to the western part of the main island. Yet we managed to visit the Yesnaby cliffs, the tidal island Brough of Birsay, the neolithic village of Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar.
Onze uitstapjes rond Stromness beperkten zich tot de westkant van het eiland, vooral omdat de fietsen niet gemaakt waren voor grote afstanden. Maar daar was genoeg te zien: Het neolithische dorp Skara Brae, de Ring van Brodgar, de kliffen van Yesnaby en het bij eb bereikbare eiland Brough of Birsay.
